It’s not uncommon to see a four-legged friend walking the halls of the Bradford Group.
As pet-friendly offices become more popular, we couldn’t help but take advantage of the trend. Research actually shows that the presence of dogs in the workplace increases collaboration – a study conducted by Central Michigan University analyzed two groups tackling a simple project, one with the assistance of a dog and one without. The group with the dog was found to be more helpful and trusting of each other. When it comes down to it, researchers found that people are typically just happier when there is a dog around.
Of course, that isn’t the case for everyone, so we take canine-aversion and allergies seriously at the Bradford Group. Before a dog comes in for the first time, management ensures the team is comfortable with the new addition. Luckily, most of the Bradford Group animals are small, hypoallergenic and well-behaved, making them the favored team members among our group.
So, take a minute to meet the Bradford Group office pets!
Lula the Toy Poodle
Lula was the first pet to visit the Bradford Group, and certainly not the last. She likes people far more than animals, so she spends her work days sprinting from office to office just to say hi. Catch her if you can! (You can’t).
Moose the Cockapoo
Moose frequents the office weekly, where he is known to run around sniffing out unsuspecting lunch-eaters. He also enjoys the occasional ice break and dashes to the kitchen anytime he hears someone refilling their water bottle.
Buddy the Guinea Pig
We bet you didn’t expect to see a rodent on this list, but we’re not just dog-friendly here! Buddy has made a few visits over the years. We’re not really sure what he likes to do other than burrow in his owner Julia’s neck, but we love him anyway.
Jasper the Cockapoo
Jasper is the newest addition to the Bradford pups. At only nine weeks old he’s still learning his way around the office, but Moose is handling his onboarding process with ease. Stay tuned on how Jasper gets acclimated!
