We’re excited to welcome Bailee Mulder to our team as an account coordinator! Get to know her a little better in our Q&A:
Where are you from and what brought you to Nashville?
I was born and raised in Lynden, Wash., a small town in the northwest corner of the state. I went to college at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Ore. (go ducks!) and moved to Seattle after graduation. I visited Nashville last May, fell in love with the city and decided it was going to be my next destination. I stumbled upon a job opening at the Bradford Group and, well, here I am!
What is your favorite thing about Nashville?
I love that Nashville is a big city, but when you get five minutes outside of downtown it doesn’t feel like one. Being from a small town, that vibe is what I’m drawn to. The people, the food and the seasons don’t suck, either!
When did you realize you wanted to pursue a career in public relations?
The summer before my senior year of college. I studied journalism with a focus in broadcast, but towards the end I was feeling like I wasn’t sure if I had made the right decision in my major. It was hard because I loved to write and knew I was passionate about communications, but I wasn’t sure how to segue into a different career path. Luckily I quickly realized that PR is very similar, and it actually became more appealing than broadcast journalism.
Do you have any unique hobbies?
Not really. I like to hike… is that unique?
What are you most looking forward to at the Bradford Group, both personally and professionally?
I’m excited to be a part of a small agency with big goals and to learn from and have relationships with the kind, smart people that are here.
If you could time travel to the past or future, where would you go and why?
Probably back to the 70’s! Seems like fun.
What’s your favorite food?
Thai or barbeque!
What’s your favorite place to eat in Nashville?
I don’t know yet! But… when I was here in May, I could not stop raving about Biscuit Love and Martin’s BBQ.
What’s your favorite quote?
“God is within her, she will not fall.” Psalm 46:5
What three words describe your personality?
Positive, Independent, Loyal
When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
I honestly have no idea. Maybe a teacher?
