A Sign of the Times: SIGNiX E-Signatures (Tech)
A digital PR approach for a digital company
We rely on the internet for fast and convenient transactions. Using e-signatures streamlines this process, as well as enhancing the security and legality of online transactions. SIGNiX’s Independent E-SignaturesTM embed cryptographic information into the document so the evidence is permanent and always accessible.
Early in 2015, SIGNiX turned to the Bradford Group to help them reach the following goals:
- Raise awareness of the company and its e-signature products.
- Drive more visitors to the company’s website.
- Grow the customer base.
We began with a thorough communications audit of SIGNiX, which included a full SWOT analysis, interviews with executives and clients and an analysis of SIGNiX’s marketing tactics up to that point. From this information, we created a detailed marketing strategy.
Because a key goal was boosting website traffic, we focused most of our PR and marketing efforts in the online space. We targeted digital media, publications with strong online readership and guest blogging opportunities. Integrated into these efforts were email blasts, blogs and an increased social media presence on Twitter and Linkedin.
At the end of 2015, SIGNiX had tripled its number of customer partnerships. The firm also received a 904% increase in website hits from PR placements over the previous year, and saw an 841% increase in unique visitors from PR placements. We’ve found that users who come to the site via PR placements look at 32% more pages per session, stay two times longer and have a 39% lower bounce rate than users to come to the website from search engine results.
Social media analytics found that SIGNiX had 96.5% more clicks in Twitter and Linkedin over the prior year. Website visits via social media went up 37%, page views via social media were up 29% and the number of unique visitors from social media were up 25% at the end of 2015. Like those who come to the SIGNiX website from publicity placements, those who come from a social media site visit more pages, stay longer and bounce less frequently.
